Delivery & Returns
Stock permitting we dispatch all orders the same day when ordered 1 hour before the service collection, Monday to Friday. On Mondays and at busy times of year we occasionally have to delay some dispatches if our team is unable to complete all orders. Having been in business for more than 20 years we normally have quite a good handle on when surges are expected but we do get caught out on occasions.
Shipping Information
Games Lore ship to the UK, to the EU in a friendly way so that all VAT and import fees are correctly taken care of and to all major countries worldwide.
Shipping costs are determined according to the weights of the product(s) bought.
Royal Mail and Airmail packages are collected about 1pm each working day.
Parcels sent either DPD or Parcelforce are collected around 4pm each working day.
Parcels sent via the International Budget Service are shipped from us 2 or 3 times a week and will take a few more days to arrive than the standard courier.
Where items are in stock we process your orders the same or next working day, where items are not in stock then we attempt to restock as quickly as possible. If you need the item urgently then please call us on 03300 245641 / 01952 587068 and we'll check stock levels for you.
New releases normally arrive with us on a Monday but are occasionally later in the week. Release dates may also be set later in the week so we may not ship items the day we receive them, instead we ship so that you are likely to receive them on the release date.
A despatch email is sent to your email address when the item is handed over to the delivery company and should include the Carrier's Tracking Reference, if there is one.
UK Shipping
Customers are offered a choice between Royal Mail Tracked 24 and Royal Mail Tracked 48, Parcelforce 24 and DPD Next Day for orders below 2kg, above 2kg you may choose between Parcelforce 24 and DPD Next Day service.
The Highlands & Islands of Scotland and Northern Ireland are separated as destinations and though prices for Royal Mail services are the same as the UK for other couriers it will vary for above 2kg services.
Parcelforce 24 and DPD Next Day is generally a next day delivery following despatch, this doesn't include the Northern Ireland or the Highlands and Islands of Scotland which take an additional day.
Overseas Shipping
Orders below 2kg are generally sent Airmail Small Packet, above this weight they are despatched using Parcelforce.
The Budget Courier 7 to 10 Day Service groups orders from a number of customers before submitting them into the courier network and it may be up to a week before we send your order to them. This service is not ideal for those who want their order promptly and we would recommend another option if this is the case.
Determining Shipping Charges
You can calculate delivery charges by adding the product(s) to the shopping cart and then starting the checkout process, enter the country you would like us to ship to, press Next and the default shipping will be shown with other shipping options further down the screen in a dropdown box.
For UK and EU deliveries VAT is applied if the item(s) purchased are VAT'able, if the products are mixed then the VAT is calculated pro-rata. This is in line with the VAT Guide and Notice 700/24 Postage and Delivery Charges.
VAT is not charged on orders to non-EU countries, in this instance product costs are reduced in line with the current UK VAT rate.
Returns Policy
Damaged or Faulty Goods
In the event that you receive an item that is damaged or faulty, we can offer a full refund within 30 days of the customer receiving the order. We simply require photographic evidence of the damaged/faulty item with your order number. Depending on the product we will either arrange collection or ask that you send it back to us via Royal Mail, in any case we are responsible for paying for the return.
If the item is damaged on arrival and you'd like a partial refund then contact our Customer Services team and we can discuss this option with you, partial repayments are made against your original payment.
Change of Mind
If you change your mind within 14 days, just let us know and return to the address below, once we have received it then we'll check the product is complete and we'll then refund you. You are responsible for return postage.
