A zombie plague is spreading throughout the universe. Even mighty Super Heroes are not immune to its effects, with many more being infected all the time. It's up to Professor Charles Xavier's greatest students, the X-Men, to halt the progress of the walking dead and put a stop to the carnage once and for all.
In Marvel Zombies - A Zombicide Game: X-Men Resistance, the tables are turned as players take on the role of the X-Men, mutant Super Heroes who are trying to stop the zombie plague. This expansion introduces Hero Mode. Whereas in the core Marvel Zombies - A Zombicide Game, players are trying to spread the zombie disease, here, they take on the role of more traditional Survivors from the Zombicide franchise, fighting against the onslaught of the undead.
